Wine List
The Sub Rosa wine list is what we have in our personal cellar at the moment. We're pretty heavy on Oregon wines, being here in the center of Yamhill County wine country. Linda worked at Argyle and Rex Hill Winery for 12 years. Michael works 'crush' for Sineann plus other cellar rat duties, so you'll see quite a bit of their wines on our list as well.
We're both unabashed Pinot Noir hounds, though there are few wines we don't enjoy. Dundee is Pinot Noir heaven, so we're lucky to live here and have access to some world class wine. We love Riesling and Gerwurtraminer and it grows well here. The Dijon clones of both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay thrive in the cool marine climate of the Willamette Valley. But it is gems like wine from pre-prohibition old vine Zinfandel found at the edge of the Columbia Gorge or the reserve Temprenillo from Southern Oregon that are our secret pleasure.
